You can now poll your friends through Facebook Messenger

A new update is being rolled out on Facebook Messenger today on Andriod and iOS, which will enable you to poll your friends.

The feature only works for group chats, and you can type in a question and some possible responses.

This will come in handy when you want to agree on a decision like where to meet or what to surprise your friend with.

The social media giant is also  introducing a ‘chat assist’ tool that uses machine learning to help you pay people back.

The features are at the moment rolling out in the US, and Facebook will bring them to other countries gradually.
