Popular messaging service WhatsApp, which is available as a web extension allows a user to send and receive messages in browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Opera.
At the moment, Internet Explorer and the latest browser Microsoft Edge are not supported, but this is set to change.
A report by Windows Central, has revealed that the company is in fact, working to get WhatsApp Web support to Edge.
No information was provided as to when this service will arrive but as the company is constantly updating Windows 10 with new features and this can be expected soon.
Microsoft claims that the new OS platform is the most ‘secure Windows ever’.
The new edition of Windows, which is available as a free upgrade, will be offered on a range of devices including PCs, tablets, phones, Raspberry Pi, Xbox One, HoloLens and more.
