MTN Uganda announces to launch the CallerTunez Online Awards in partnership with Huawei, the leading ICT solution provider.
The CallerTunez online Awards will run from 6th August 2015 to November 2015. The MTN users can dial *170# to enjoy CallerTunes service and win cash reach 2.5 million UGX and Huawei devices (the Mate7, P7 and media Pad) during the Awards promotion.
As the technical partner, Huawei owned a mixed team, joined by Ugandans, Kenyans and Chinese, will provide the professional technical and operation support for this online awards.
In 2010, Huawei helped MTN Uganda to deploy CallerTunez services for MTN Uganda users. By now it has been running for five years, and the subscribers increased to 1.5 million. The CallerTunez helped MTN Uganda to offer a more impactful user experience to their users.
The service allows MTN users to choose a tune and set it as their phone welcome tune for calling parties. The calling party can hear personalized music, sound, voice clip, or message instead of the familiar “duu-duuu” sound. It has greatly enhanced the experience of subscribers when enjoying the latest ICT technology. “The technology should not always be cold and stiff, and we should care more about the experience of our subscribers however they are using their phones. As the service provider and platform provider, Huawei hopes to develop more customer-oriented service with MTN, to fulfill customer’s differentiated needs by more humanized designs. We also hope more Uganda people can take this opportunity to enjoy phone calls more,” Said the Manager Director of Huawei Uganda, Mr. Stanley Chyn.
Besides Uganda, Huawei also deployed the CallerTunez services in Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt and others in Africa. According the latest research, Huawei CallerTunez (RBT) solution is the No.1 brand all over the world.
