A new update to Google Now has made it possible to for you to ask it to send messages using your favorite services.
Previously, when you said “send a message to *****” Google Now would just send via your default messaging app.
The update enables you to specify which app to use by saying “OK, Google, send a WhatsApp message to ****” and it’ll pick the right app.
The functionality supports WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat, Telegram and NextPlus.
Google plans to add more support for apps and languages in the future.
With Android M, you will be able to use Google ‘Now on Tap’ to get contextual information inside apps without having to leave.
