Orange have been recognised with the 2013 Africa Frost & Sullivan Telecom Company of the Year Award, for its execution of growth strategies and its commitment to offering quality services and products to customers.
The award recognizes a high degree of innovation with products and technologies and the resulting leadership in terms of customer value and market penetration.
Frost & Sullivan highlighted the unique strategy of development through initiatives such as Orange Horizons and partnerships with Nashua Mobile in South Africa and Visa in Botswana, with more countries to follow to roll out mobile money cards to be used at ATMs and online.
