Unboxing and First Impression of the Tecno Camon X

The Tecno Camon X was launched in an event that was held in Lagos, Nigeria, attended by Nigeria’s Minister of Communication; Abdur-Raheem Adebayo Shittu on 6th April, 2018. Launched along the Tecno Camon X Pro. The two phablets become the second line of smartphones to be launched by the firm this year. And come spotting a 18:9 aspect screen ratio. Unfortunately the Tecno Camon CM beat this first, surprising being a mid-range smartphone.

We’ve always known that the camera on any Tecno smartphone is always one of its selling point. And we’ve to say that the company doesn’t disappoint when it comes to giving its best on the cameras. The Tecon Camon X comes with a 20MP front facing camera that is able to take selfie just by saying the letter ‘X’. Alright! I’ve to say that this comes in handy, because will help a lot from stretching to press that shutter button. On the other hand, I might add that its Face ID feature, is part of its selling point as well. This feature can be used to unlocking your smartphone. We wonder whether it can do more than that, well wait for our review.[related-posts]

We aren’t sure of its accuracy, but since we have the phone with us which comes in champagne gold, we will have to test it out and let you guys know in our full review.

However, before the review, we have the unboxing and first impression. I’ve to say from unboxing the phone, it really beautiful, the packing is organized. The 6-Inch Full display smartphone appears on top, underneath is neatly laid USB and Data Charger, Wall socket, and the earphones.

So what are our first impression:

  1. The cameras are good. Like I mentioned before, Tecno doesn’t disappoint.
  2. The Face ID feature.
  3. Comes with full body casing for the phone.
  4. Comes with Android 8.1 Oreo; Google’s latest mobile OS.
  5. The curved edges on the screen, I think pulled it off.
  6. The slick design and the glossy screen display.

Stick around, and we shall have our full review of the phablet.
