Windows 10 gets smarter with self lock feature called ‘Dynamic Lock’

The latest Insider Preview builds of the Windows 10 Creators Update include a feature called Dynamic Lock, which will attempt to detect when you are no longer present in front of your PC, and lock the device for extra security.

Internally referred to as ‘Windows Goodbye’, the feature intelligently locks your device when you are away from your computer. How this feature actually works is yet to be known, but reports suggest that Windows will automatically lock your device when you’re away for 10-15 minutes.

The technology essentially compliments the Windows Hello solution the software-maker introduced a few years back. Replacing the standard password and PIN method, Hello uses special cameras to enable users to log in to their machines by simply scanning their face.
