Startup platform AngelList has acquired Product Hunt, the popular website for finding new apps and products.
AngelList, whose main focuse has been on fundraising and recruiting for startups will most likely use Product Hunt to promote all the startup products on its platform.
Product Hunt has previously been used to help launch tools and apps from individual developers to large companies.
The deal is expected to to cost approximately $20 million.
AngelList has clarified that Product Hunt will remain independent and maintain ” its playful, empathic and curious attitude.”
