As we ended the month June, Brian Gouldie who holds an extensive experience in the telecom industry yesterday was bid farewell by MTN Uganda as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO), after his two-year service since July, 2014 after he had served as the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN South Africa.
Highly motivated and passionate with an excellent delivery track record across both formal and informal market types, Brian has operated as the head of a business unit as well as holding key and diverse strategic functional roles and also able to mobilize resources across the organisation due to a strong team and people focused management approach.
During his farewell, Brian thanked leadership team he has worked with and the entire MTN team and also commented how Uganda has got great opportunities.

South Africa High Commissioner H. E. Solly Mollo who graced Brian’s Farewell commended him for his exemplary leadership during his time with MTN Uganda.
“We operate as a family and we thank Brian and his beautiful wife for a great job done,” Dr. Charles Mbiire said in his remarks.
Brian received a standing ovation as he concludes his remarks.

Brian will be leaving the position as the CEO of MTN Uganda, by the end of this month.
