In 2013, the founder of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg voluntarily dropped his salary to just $1 per year, joining the exclusive One-Dollar-Club for CEOs that features names like Steve Jobs and Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin.
That year, his total compensation of $651,165 [in 2013], which included bonus and other pay, fell 67% from $2 million in 2012.
But don’t be misled. Zuck is a muilti-billionaire.
Anyway, the 31-year-old yesterday decided to take part in a Q&A on Facebook and answered plenty of questions from plenty of people.
