Twitter Blue subscribers now have up to an hour to edit tweets. Prior, the microblogging website only gave the subscribers a time limit of 30 minutes now an hour gives them a much bigger window to change their tweets and correct any typos although the engagement from the first tweet disappears after making the edit.
The company made the announcement of this change by editing a tweet, a minute of posting the original one.
This change comes a month after the company changed its upload video length from an hour to two hours and also increased the character limit from 4,000 to 10,000.
After the relaunch of Twitter Blue in December last year, Twitter has increased limits for many features to push creators to post on the platform more.
Twitter Blue subscriptions cost USD$8 per month for those who sign up through the website and $11 per month for those who subscribe using the Twitter app.
The service offers premium perks to subscribers including a blue verification checkmark, custom icons & themes, priority ranking in conversation replies, thread reader mode, uploading 1080p, add bold & italic text to tweets, bookmark folders, early access to new features, see approximately twice as many tweets between ads in your timelines, encrypted DMs, and support NFT profile pictures, among others.
