After Agrocenta; a Ghana-based startup which is tackling food access and stock flow issues across Ghana communities, emerged as Seedstars Global Winner in April this year winning up to USD$500,000 in equity investment and some unique growth opportunities, Seedstars World, the biggest startup competition focused only in emerging markets and fast-growing startup has announced its tour dates for the 5th Annual Seedstars summit global search.
The African tour will begin from Maputo (Mozambique) on 15th June and end on 2nd November in Gaborone (Botswana).
18 African cities (Kampala inclusive) have been chosen to participate in the competition.

After submissions respective to each city, only 10 startups will be invited to pitch in front of an investment panel and compete to be crowned the most promising seed stage startup in the city. The crowned startup in every city will represent the country at the global summit in Switzerland.
