Crypto Billionaire, Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the world’s largest crypto exchange – Binance, is set to feature on a panel at the African Blockchain Conference 2018, happening on 23 -24 May in Kampala. Held under the theme “The role of Blockchain Technology in Africa’s transformation”, is the biggest conference on Blockchain technologies in Africa.
The conference is set to bring together policymakers, leaders in Industry, academia, youth, entrepreneurs and blockchain enthusiasts to showcase different but relevant use cases in different sectors in order to demonstrate the value and importance of blockchain technology.
Beefing up an exciting list of speakers and panelists to the conference is Zhao, commonly known as CZ – founder and CEO of Binance, an exchange that processes over $3 billion in crypto trades per day, the largest in the world, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to Forbes, Binance supports about 120 coins, working with 100 plus wallets and 240 trading pairs. In under eight months, CZ has grown Binance from an idea into the world’s largest digital-asset exchange by traded value, steering Binance to a $200 million profit in its second quarter of existence plus amassed a personal fortune that he claims is worth as much as $2 billion.
The conference will also feature the Pitch Competition, a platform for enterprising individuals and startups to showcase their ideas in front of a panel of judges and compete to win cash prizes of up to $5000.
