Shenzhen-based smartphone markers, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, before wrapping up the year, a scheduled the launch for their Honor 9 Lite as it was seen sending out media invites a week after unveiling their Honor View 10 phablet in London.
The firm sub-brand Honor launched its latest mid-range smartphone in the honor-series, the ‘Honor 9 Lite’ at an event in that was held China.
The Honor 9 Lite comes with a 5.65-inch full HD + display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 1080×2160 pixel resolution, powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 processor paired and runs Google’s newest mobile OS, the Android 8.0 Oreo topped with the company’s EMUI 8.0 UI layer backed by a 3,000mAh Li-Polymer battery that also supports Super Charge.
The dual SIM comes in three storage variants, 3/32 GB, 4/32GB, and 4/64GB with an expandable microSD slot of up to 256GB. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup housing a 16MP + 2MP with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash on the rear camera, while the front camera as well comes in a dual setup housing 13MP and 2MP accompanied with LED flash.
Also packs a fingerprint sensor at the back.
Price, Availability and Color Variants
The pricing starts at CNY1,199 (USD$182) for the 3/32 GB, 4/32 GB goes for CNY1,499 (USD$227) while the 4/64 GB has been priced at CNY1,799 (USD$273) – and will all be available in Navy Blue, Seagull Gray, Magic Nightfall or Pearl White color variants. The flagship is expected to arrive in China on December 26th, while India, Russia, and UK are on the waiting list.
