The limitations you have been facing when it some to file sharing on WhatsApp will soon become history.
Currently, you can share images, videos, audio, locations, and documents of specific file types, like PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and slides. When you try to share anything else, the files would are greyed out!
With the new development which is currently undergoing tests, you will be able to share anything as long as its under 128MB on iOS and 100MB on Android.
This means you will be able to send images and video without the usual WhatsApp compression, which affects quality.
Am waiting for the announcement of when the feature will roll out to the public.[related-posts]
