The GSMA Mobile World Congress (MWC) is a combination of the world’s largest exhibition for the mobile industry and a conference featuring prominent executives representing mobile operators, device manufacturers, technology providers, vendors and content owners from across the global.
The 9th annual MWC event will take place in Barcelona from February 27th to 2nd March, 2017, then head to Shanghai, China between June 28th to 1st July, 2017. This comes after GSMA in 2014 announced that their annual summer event in China would be rebranded under the Mobile World Congress banner as Mobile World Congress Shanghai.

1. Huawei P10
The Huawei P10 will be launched at the MWC 2017 succeeding the P9, as the company has confirmed that February 26 will see the global unveiling of a new flagship device.

3. LG G6
LG sent out its invitations to the event, where it is expected to unveil the G6 smartphone. The company is seen releasing teasers almost on a daily-basis about the phone. According to online multiple reports, the company is said to have abandoned its efforts with modular smartphones, after the G5 handset failed to ignite consumer interest.
Specs: 5.7-inch Quad HD+ resolution FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 13MP Dual rear camera, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, Android 7.0 Nougat, 3200mAh battery, UX 6.0.
4. Nokia Phones
HMD Global is widely expected to relaunch the indestructible Nokia 3310 feature phone along side the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 8.

5. ZTE Gigabit
Shenzhen-based smartphone makers, ZTE Corp. also came out to announce its presence at MWC 2017 teasing the arrival of the ZTE Gigabit Phone. According to reports by Digital Trends, the smartphone is said to allow download speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second.

Honorable Mention
Samsung’s Mobile Chief Koh Dong-jin reportedly confirmed that the company won’t discontinue its Galaxy Note series and also mentions that the official launch date for the Galaxy S8 launch will be revealed at MWC 2017. The South Korean giants are expected to reveal the Galaxy Tab S3.
