According to a recent leaks by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp mobiles apps might expect two newly features; live location sharing to its app, for ease in finding people, and a newly improved WhatsApp Status feature.
As we keep waiting for the edit and revoke sent message feature, we can still hold on these newly introduced ones.
WABetaInfo in a tweet shared screenshots of the location-sharing feature. The option is only available in group chats, where you can enable your live location accessible to the specified audience for a 1 to 5 minutes or indefinitely.
There’s a new ‘Show My Friends‘ option that comes off by default.

These updates are available for WhatsApp Beta versions 2.17.3.28 for iPhone and 2.16.399 for Android.
