Have you been wondering what Mozilla is up to? wonder no more. The company’s new logo which had earlier been revealed in a video posted on their YouTube account, has now been confirmed in a blog post.
According to the blog post, the new logo with its nod to URL language reinforces that the Internet is at the heart of Mozilla, adding that they are committed to the original intent of the link as the beginning of an unfiltered, unmediated experience into the rich content of the Internet.
The company added that they will roll out the new brand identity in phases, much as they have with concepts in the open design process.
Last year, Mozilla launched a contest to design its new logo.
