There is no doubt that internet marketing has changed the way brands connect with customers. Even local businesses in Uganda can now reach international customers and sell products and services globally. There have been a number of shifts in the way brands are engaging marketing too.

Internet marketing now accounts for close to 20% of the global marketing budget; that’s a big portion compared to the 3% share it had in 2008.

According to studies by Northeastern University and its AACSB online MBA department, 78% of Chief Marketing Officers believe that content marketing – and content creation – is the future. There is 10 times more video marketing content being created today than there was a couple of years ago. Pair these statistics with the fact that there are more customers to engage online, and we have the perfect combination that will make internet marketing even more popular.
