The world’s biggest smartphone giants; Samsung Electronics Co Ltd is seeking to put behind it one of the biggest product safety failures in tech history as it prepares to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8, one of its flagship phones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) trade show which begins on February 27 in Barcelona.
However, reports according to Reuters, indicate that the South Korean smartphone markers will not unveil the phablet the trade show this year, suggesting the flagship model’s launch may be later in the year than its 2016 version.
Samsung mobile chief Koh Dong-jin said the phone would not get a launch event at the MWC, Reuters reports.
Koh is said not to have commented on when the company on launching the handset.[related-posts]
