Huawei Uganda unveils smartphone solutions targeting all market levels

Huawei Consumer Business Group (Uganda) has today announced re-invented smartphone solutions that appeal to all market segments in Uganda, as it unveiled six (6) different smartphone devices targeting low, middle and high-level customers.

Dong Chengzu Huawei Devices Uganda Head of Retail and Marketing Department said, ‘In 2012, Huawei became the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer and was the first Chinese company to sell more than 100 million mobile phones in one year – 2015, with products and services available in more than 170 countries. Huawei is therefore very keen on capturing all market segments in Uganda by introducing devices that address the diverse customer preferences.’

Upon this background, Huawei has today unveiled six (6) smartphone solutions currently available in all leading dealer and distributor shops countrywide to include:

Huawei P9 and P9 Plus

Huawei reinvented smartphone photography by partnering with legendary German camera company Leica to create the world’s first dual-lens camera smartphones – Huawei P9 and P9 Plus that feature two rear-facing camera lenses, with more light and better clarity enabling you to capture detailed high quality pictures both in good and low light conditions. The P9 and P9 Plus excel in both picture quality and image focusing speed, delivering photos with superior richness, clarity and authenticity.

Dong said, ‘Huawei and Leica are bringing together the industry’s best hardware and software on the P9 and P9 Plus, creating a seamless end-to-end smartphone photography system combining world-class image capture and processing technologies. The two 12-megapixel sensors, one of which is colour while the other is black and white, allow the P9 and P9 Plus to capture up to 50 percent more detail and 200 percent more light than conventional smartphone camera designs.’

Further still, Huawei’s world-leading biometric recognition technology protects P9 and P9 Plus users against unauthorized access to their device. For the P9 and P9 Plus, Huawei is rolling out an enhanced fingerprint sensor that allows people to personalize and safeguard their devices. The new enhanced fingerprint sensor on the P9 and P9 Plus captures and assesses fingerprints in 3D for increased accuracy, lowering the possibility of fraudulent or unintended access to the device.

The P9 has got a 5.2 Inch multi-touch display with screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 Pixels and protected by corning Gorilla Glass 4 which means your phone screen will always be protected from scratches and accidental falls.
