Io-Interactive‘s popular franchise “The Hitman series” and other games such as; Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days; release date August 2010, Mini Ninjas; release date September 2009, Freedom Fighters; release date October 2003 to name a few, announced that their second episode, “Spaienza” for Hitman, will be available April 26th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
The episode is full of new challenges and packed with opportunities for the creative assassin to explore.
During the game, the player’s main target is Silvio Caruso, a brilliant bioengineer reportedly working on a DNA-Specific virus able to infect anyone anywhere in the world.
Hitman which was originally set to be released on December 8, 2015 for Microsoft Windows, PS4 and Xbox One, was delayed to March 11, 2016 to allow additional development time for Io-Interactive to include more content into the base game.
Their first episode; “Intro Pack” which was released last month on March 11, 2016 has so far received positive reviews. Metacritic, an aggregating review website for music, games, tv shows, and movies gave it a 76/100 based on 11 reviews, the PS4 version gave the episode 76/100 based on 65 reviews and the Xbox One version 79/100 based on 9 reviews.
The third episode, “Marrakesh” will be coming out in May 2016 followed by the previously planned Thailand, U.S. and Japan expansions by the end of the season in late 2016.[related-posts]
