Nokia is bringing together leaders from the mobile, automotive and healthcare industries, as well as top academics and government officials for the third annual Brooklyn 5G Summit.
The summit will showcase demonstrations and the latest achievements towards making 5G a reality, and ways of accelerating the development of new, 5G-powered Internet of Things (IoT) innovations across multiple industries.
Co-sponsored by Nokia and the NYU WIRELESS Research Center at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering, the summit will be held from April 20th – 22nd in Brooklyn, New York and be live streamed by IEEE Communications Society.
On the agenda are keynote speakers and panelists from AT&T, the Federal Communications Commission, C Spire, Intel, NTT DoCoMo, Qualcomm, Scripps Clinic and Institute, T-Mobile, Toyota, Verizon and Vodafone.
The summit seeks to increase the pace of development in the telecom and non-telecom sectors through the accelerated delivery of 5G technologies for critical industry needs. The summit will highlight 5G technologies that will be needed to meet these future capacity demands.
The event also focuses on the next steps for bringing 5G to commercial readiness, and examines concrete examples of how technologies can be leveraged by a multitude of enterprises and industries to pursue high-growth IoT opportunities.[related-posts]
