Twitter removes background wallpaper from user homepages

If you log into your Twitter account on the web today, you will notice something new.

If you had previously uploaded a custom wallpaper image or just used one of Twitter’s available designs, you’ll notice it no longer appears as the background of your Twitter homepage.

A Twitter spokesperson revealed that they’re removing background images from the home and notifications timelines on web for all users.

The images have been replaced with a blank background with a very slight hint of blue.

This means all users can have a cleaner more unified look.
