MTN Rwanda opens four new service centres

MTN Rwanda has launched four new customer service centres. The new centres are located in Karongi (Western Province), Petit Barriere(Western Province), Gicumbi (Northern Province) and Nyakarambi (Eastern Province).

According to Camille Kaminuza, MTN’s Regional Manager, the centres will play a critical role in reinforcing efficiency and ease of doing business in the country.

They will also serve as sales points for MTN products and services, Mobile Money merchant points, education and service demonstration, payment points for monthly bills and SIM registration among others, Kaminuza, said.

Kaminuza who was speaking at the launch of the Karongi Service Centre last week said that the initiative is part of the core values of bringing relevant products and services closer to customers while focusing on improving customer satisfaction.

“By expanding our reach to all the corners of the country, we’re maintaining our commitment to providing excellent service delivery to our customer base and to position MTN in the minds of customers. We will be here to listen to customers’ feedback and make well targeted adjustments, that all add up to greater customer satisfaction.”

Director of Infrastructure in Karongi District, Damascene Hanyurwimana, applauded MTN for its continued investment in the country and welcomed the convenience the service centre will bring to the people of the area.

“Having this service centre within close proximity to everyday business men and women provides convenience of service, and allows one to focus on his or her business objectives without having to travel far for support.”

The opening of these four sales points brings such MTN one-stop solutions centres across the country to a total of 19, with 7 being in Kigali and 12 up country.
