Google Unveils Devices and Activity Dashboard for Comprehensive Tracking

Yesterday, Google introduced a new Devices and Activity dashboard that helps manage devices linked to a user’s Google account.

The company has also launched a security wizard for ‘Google for Work’ accounts that details the necessary steps to take to ensure security of the account.

The Devices and Activity dashboard gives users a comprehensive view of all devices that are linked to their Google accounts. It shows all the devices that have accessed the user’s account in the last 28 days, or are currently signed-in.

Apart from the time and location of the devices that accessed the account, users can also ‘Remove access’ of any device from this page – which automatically signs the user out.

The new security wizard for Google for Work account holders brings features like providing contact information for easy account recovery (if the domain security policy allows it), or reviewing recent account activity and account permissions.
