Google has released a small yet interesting update for the Drive by adding a new feature to the link tool in the app.
With this update, Google will automatically suggest links which are suitable to the text or word selected by a user on Documents in Drive.
Unlike earlier, where you would actually right click on a word or sentence to look for related information on the web, you will now be able to see a number of links for related information in a result table shown automatically below the selected text.

You can then simply hyperlink text in docs and slides in the Google Drive by inserting the best suitable link with just one click. Apart from web links, it will also give users links to relevant documents stored in the user’s Drive.
The update is available for users from today itself.
