The latest report from Net Market share reveals that Mozilla’s web browser, Firefox, has seen slight growth throughout September, while Google Chrome has slipped.
Chrome has seen a gradual decline from 17.37% of the market in August, to 17.12% market share in September, slipping a little further from Firefox, which sits on 18.23% market share for September.
After slipping below 20% share in May, Firefox looked to be handing over the silver medal to Google Chrome, but it managed to hold onto second place throughout July, August and September.
IE, being the default browser for the Windows platform, still dominates with 48.76% – up 0.03% from August.
Safari, Opera, Android’s browser, and others make up the remainder of the market share
