Huawei Officially Unveils its P Smart (2019) Smartphone: Price, Specs & Availability

After recently launching their punch-hole display smartphone; Huawei Nova 4 on Dec. 17th, the Chinese smartphone—manufacturer; Huawei have launched their last smartphone for this year. Huawei P Smart (2019) was officially announced after unofficially going on pre-order earlier this month. The Huawei P Smart (2019) was listed on a French retailer Boulanger with sale pegged for Jan. 2nd 2019.

Meanwhile, the highlights for the flagship is the dewdrop-shaped notch, a dual camera setup aligned vertically, and a 12nm Hisilicon Kirin 710 that powers the handset. The design of the smartphone, wants to have much look—like; the Huawei P20 that was launched in March this year.

Looking at the specs perspective, the dual-SIM comes with 6.21-inch FHD+ display with a screen aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Running on Android 9 Pie topped with Huawei’s EMUI 9.0, the handset is powered by a 12nm process-based 2.2GHz HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core SoC paired with 3GB RAM. In addition, an in-built storage of 64GB that is expandable with a microSD card of up-to 512GB. This is backed on a non-removable 3,400mAh battery.

In terms of imaging—and video) the Huawei P Smart (2019) has a 13MP rear camera with a 2MP depth-sensing second sensor and an 8MP selfie camera.

Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, USB OTG, FM Radio, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, among others.

Price, Availability, and Colors
The handset is priced at €250 (roughly UGX1,063,200) in European markets with shipment scheduled for Jan. 2nd 2019. Meanwhile, it’s reportedly said, the handset will cost £149 (roughly UGX703,300) in the UK—with shipping beginning Jan. 11th 2019.

The handset will be available in Midnight Black, Aurora Blue, and Sapphire Blue color options.[related-posts]
