First National Bank (FNB) has been voted as South Africa’s top Corporate Bank in the business category in the 2015 Sunday Times Top Brand Survey. The winning brands are voted for by consumers and business decision-makers who rank them as being the best in their category in a nationwide survey.
Now in its 17th year, the survey is the longest running and most credible consumer brand survey in South Africa.
Underpinned by innovative products and solutions, FNB has remained the country’s top corporate bank for the third year running.
Michael Vacy-Lyle, CEO FNB Business said, “Winning the Sunday Times Top Brands award is incredibly gratifying and a substantial accomplishment. This accolade is a reminder that our customers acknowledge that our brand is consistent and delivers on innovative banking solutions. It is important to us because it means South Africans have chosen a home-grown brand as the one they trust and want to do business with.”
FNB’s recent innovations in banking provide evidence of the ease and efficiency with which technology can be harnessed to add value to small and medium business banking clients by assisting businesses in removing the angst from their day-to-day business administration.
“We strive to allow businesses to focus on growing their business, while making banking easier. We have maximised business efficiency through our solutions and processes that contribute to business growth. The current economic conditions have also encouraged us to introduce measures that help businesses remain sustainable in a competitive environment,” concludes Vacy-Lyle.
