AppsAfrica Innovation Awards Open For Application

The AppsAfrica Innovation Awards, that aims to celebrate Africa’s most best solutions in mobile and tech — has called for corporates, established ventures or startups who have launched services in at least one African market to apply for their 5th annual Awards.

The submission of applications opens effective immediately till September. Finalists shall be announced on Oct. 8th, for a grand finale on Nov. 11th in Cape Town, South Africa.

Winners will also invited to the 3rd Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2020 to join tech leaders, corporates, startups, and investors. However, AppsAfrica Innovation Awards provides its winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking opportunities.

Applications are welcome from mobile or technology ventures with services launched in at least one African market for the following award categories;

Disruptive Innovation, Health Tech, Best African App, Enterprise Solution, Blockchain, Media & Entertainment, Educational, Fintech, Agritech, Social Impact, IoT, mCommerce, Changing Africa, and Mobility Awards.

Notably, moto-taxi riding hailing firm; Safeboda in 2018 won the Best African App. The company took to Twitter to share their achievement.
