Vivo Launches its Y20 Mid-range Smartphone in Kenya

Vivo officially announces the availability of its mid-range smartphone; the Vivo Y20 in Kenya with sales going live effective today at all vivo Kenya brand stores, Jumia and dealer’s store countrywide for a price of KSH13,999, and available in Obsidian Black and Nebula Blue color options.
The launch is reportedly said to come after Vivo was ranked among the top international smartphone manufacturers in Q3 2020 —representing a clear year-on-year growth. The ranking is based on Q3 data for the global smartphone market released by Canalys and the International Data Corporation.
According to the reports, the numbers from both entities indicated that vivo’s mobile phone shipments ranked among the top five in the world while on the other hand —Canalys’ data indicated that vivo had 31.8 million shipments, thus ranking 5th.
