On Tuesday, Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, a business of Cassava Technologies, announced that it has attained four prestigious ISO certifications, namely Environmental Stewardship (ISO 14001), Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001), Quality Management (ISO 9001), and Information Security (ISO/IEC 27001) to underscore the company’s commitment to excellence, sustainability, employee wellbeing, and data protection.
“ISO certification demonstrates how, in addition to providing top-quality technology solutions to the market, our people’s wellbeing, the safety and security of our internal systems and processes, and our environmental impact are all aspects we take very seriously,” Michael Mukasa, Chief Executive Officer of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, said in a press statement. “Attaining four simultaneous ISO certifications is a proud achievement for Liquid Uganda, and we will continue to seek improvements in how we operate.”
Initiatives contributing to Liquid Uganda’s successful certification include adopting energy-efficient technologies, reducing waste through recycling programmes, and monitoring environmental performance on an ongoing basis. A culture that prioritises employee wellbeing is achieved through rigorous safety protocols and ongoing training, while standardised processes ensure consistent customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement. Strong leadership commitment supports all aspects of the process.
Liquid Uganda is demonstrating its commitment to ongoing improvement and global best practices by actively seeking and attaining ISO certification. Liquid aims to further integrate these standards deeper into its corporate culture and explore additional certifications that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), these global certifications are essential for building trust and credibility in the modern market. Once attained, the ISO recertification process is repeated every two years.
