Mukasa emphasized that the Azure Stack will benefit large enterprises and accelerate cloud adoption amongst Ugandan Small and Midsize Enterprises (SMEs) through flexible and bespoke adoption models.
Hosting on the Azure Stack will ensure businesses meet regulatory requirements which state how data should be stored and processed within the country to ensure data sovereignty and protection as mandated by the Data Protection and Privacy Act.
