In a landmark event recently concluded at the 2024 MTN Uganda Suppliers’ Forum, MTN Uganda celebrated the spirit of collaboration and innovation that fuels the telco’s success, awarding Ericsson and GD Experts with a Supplier Innovation Award for their extraordinary contributions to enhancing MTN’s service through innovation, excellence, and a commitment to MTN’s mission.
The award was an acknowledgment of suppliers who have made extraordinary contributions to enhancing MTN’s service offerings through innovation, excellence, and a commitment to MTN’s mission.
“We are thrilled to honor GD Experts Limited for their groundbreaking work in advancing our technological capabilities and helping us deliver world-class services to our customers,” said MTN Uganda Human Resources General Manager, Mr. Michael Sekadde. “GD Experts Limited has been a driving force in our journey toward digital transformation. Their remarkable ingenuity and expertise have led to the development of solutions that significantly improve our operational efficiency and service delivery.”
Sekadde pointed out that GD Experts’ unwavering dedication to innovation and excellence has solidified their position as a valuable partner in MTN’s mission to provide top-tier services to our customers.
On the other hand, MTN Uganda’s General Manager of Capital Projects, Mr. Nicholas Beijuka, praised Ericsson for their outstanding contributions. “Ericsson has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence and innovation, which has been pivotal in helping us achieve our strategic objectives. The recognition of these outstanding suppliers was a key moment during the MTN Uganda Suppliers’ Forum, which was held under the theme “Building Tomorrow’s Supply Chain Today.” The theme underscored the importance of innovation, collaboration, and adaptability in creating resilient, future-ready supply chains. Furthermore, the event highlighted the critical need to harness emerging technologies and financial solutions to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability in the supply chain ecosystem.
