In the midst of a bidding war, both Netflix and Amazon are vying for the rights to the film project Crime 101 based on a novella by Don Winslow starring Chris Hemsworth and Pedro Pascal, with American Animals helmer Bart Layton set to direct. While both platforms are willing to spend up to $100 million for the rights to the movie, with Amazon currently leading the bidding, in its characteristic monthly tradition, Netflix has unveiled an exciting lineup of fresh titles coming to the streaming platform this September.

The new additions to this month’s library include new season premieres of several shows, such as “Top Boy” season three (Sept. 7), “Disenchantment” season five (Sept. 1), and undeniably the biggest new release of the month being the fourth and final season of the British dramedy “Sex Education” (Sept. 21)

Reality fans get ready to enjoy new seasons of Love is Blind while anime fans should look forward to a new Castlevania series.

Netflix series, documentaries, and original films including The Devil’s Plan, Ice Cold: Murder, Coffee and Jessica Wongso, Song of the Bandits, Vasco Rossi: Living It, and The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar haven’t received airing dates but they are expected to come out in Septemeber.
