PC Tech announces new date for the Africa Internet Entrepreneurs Conference

According to the organizing committee, more time is needed for international participants to make arrangements to attend the conference.

“December is a busy month. We observed that the original date [10th December] would make it impossible for some students and lecturers to come to the conference because it will be exam time for most Universities,” said Albert Mucunguzi, the Conference Chair.

“Some of our guest speakers will be traveling from different countries, and we feel they need more time to make travel arrangements,” he explained.

This announcement means more time will be available for those intending to make presentations at the conference to submit their papers.

AFRIEC 2011 is organized by PC Tech Magazine, in collaboration with PearlRichards Foundation, Ghana, and will bring together speakers and delegates from Makerere Univerisity (Uganda), University of Ghana Business School (Ghana), and University of Ibadan (Nigeria), among other institutions.

Important Dates:

• Submission Deadline – 15th  February 2011

• Notification of Acceptance – 25th  February 2011

• Conference Date – 4th March 2011
