The Galaxy Note 7R Priced at USD$623 Less Than the Original Note 7
South Korean consumer electronics giant Samsung Corp. in Apirl confirmed that the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 will appear on market this month, and it appears that the company is gearing up for the launch of its phablet. According to the listing on Danawa, a Korean online store at, the phablet has been priced at 699,600 South Korean Won (Roughly USD$623) lower than the original Galaxy Note 7 that was priced at USD$875.
It’s worth mentioning here that two battery issues were claimed to be behind Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 devices catching fire, one said to be related to batteries made by Samsung’s own SDI division and the other linked to batteries sourced from Amperex Technology.
Samsung recalled the phablets from the market in September 2016, after multiple complaints about the phone catching fire from the handset holders with some happening on planes which then was banned by numerous airline authorities worldwide.
In terms of specifications, everything is said to remain the same aside from the battery and other added minor features.
