Samsung Unveils The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ with No Headphone Jack

South Korean based smartphone manufacturer; Samsung Electronics on Wednesday officially unveiled its Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ at an unpacked event in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. The two phablets are the latest iterations of the Galaxy Note high-end smartphone series.

The mobiles were unveiled by DJ Koh; CEO IT and Mobile Communications at Samsung. He noted that the smartphones pack new technologies that will give consumers better user experience.

The phone comes with 5G network connection and improved camera features, huge displays & battery, new improved and upgraded S Pen among others.

Specifications, Features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+
The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ come with a 6.3-Inch and 6.8-Inch Infinity-O displays respectively. Have no bezels, and a thin chin, this helped provide more space for the display.

The Galaxy Note 10 has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which the Note 10+ comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both smartphones have a hole punch selfie camera which has a 10MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The Note 10 has a triple rear camera with 12 MP (wide), 12 MP (telephoto), 16 MP (ultrawide) sensors. The Note 10+ has quad rear camera same sensors as the Note 10 and the fourth camera a TOF 3D VGA camera.

In terms of connectivity, both phones have no 3.5mm earphone jack, support bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi, USB v3.1 Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, GPS, NFC. The battery capacity, the Note 10 has 3,500mAh while the Note 10+ has 4,300mAh. They both support fast charging and wireless charging.

The phone comes in two versions for each, LTE and 5G. For the Note 10, the LTE is priced at $949 and the 5G is priced at $1,049. On the other hand, the Note 10+, the LTE is priced at $1,099 and 5G at $1,299. Note that the Note 10 5G model is only available for Korean market.

The phones go available starting Aug. 23rd but pre-orders start today Aug. 8th.

Colors, the Note 10 come in Aura Glow, Aura White, Aura Black, Aura Pink, and Aura Red options. For the Note 10+ comes in all the Note 10 colors expect Aura Red.

The S Pen
A small brief about the S Pen, it is with no doubt the handy tool has been improved and upgraded. In his remarks, Drew said; “The S Pen is more than just a simple tool but the HEART of the Galaxy Note experience.”

Adding that it is much more than a writing tool as it is a creativity and productivity tool as well.

The S Pen has motions sensors that can let you control your Note 10 or apps without having to touch or tap on the phone. It can be used to control your camera, and also watch & control videos while watching YouTube. For instance, zooming in & out, increasing & decreasing volume, going next or previous, among others.
