itel Mobile mainly focuses on entry-level smartphones which are so affordable to one with a tight budget, for instance a student or perhaps a first timer. It is worth knowing that, Itel is a growing brand in the smartphone industry, most especially in emerging markets. According to online reports, itel Mobiles in the second quarter of 2017 was reported to have had the highest total phone sales in Africa. Which is promising to the Transsion Holdings-owned brand.

Early this year, we saw the company launch the A32F under the theme “Fingerprint for Everyone” since it was one of the key selling points for it. This time around the company launched the successor of he P31; the itel P32 –  as part of the itel P-series handsets which is targeting users that love high battery life for their handset. Launched in mid June under the theme “More than Big Battery,” it will be officially unveiled in Ugandan market on Monday 30th.

The 5.5” 18:9 Fullscreen display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels comes with a Quad-Core 1.3GHz processor which is backed up by 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, and with the company’s partnership with Google, itel incorporated the Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) into the P32, which is specifically tailored to facilitate a smooth and fast experience in device – considering that it has a 1GB of RAM.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Itel P32 comes with a dual rear camera spoting  5MP + 5MP camera sensors, and 5MP front facing camera. Both the front and rear camera are sported by a dual-LED flash for low light photography.

With its 4000mAh battery – which is the one of the key selling points, the company claims it can last users upto 3 days on a single charge.

“With over-all design updates, the 4000mAh power beast P32 now has full screen display and slimmer body, which brings more beautiful look and better hand feel. The high-density battery coupled with itel power saver still support you 3 days* usage by a single charge,” writes the company.

itel added a fingerprint sensor at the back just below the dual cameras. The sensor will give the handset holders more flexibility from securely locking their phone to protect their data. The feature adds on the default security features; the password, pin, and pattern locks.

itel hasn’t revealed the prices to the Ugandan market, but sure believe its less than USD$100.[related-posts]
