Transsion Holdings brand Infinix, as promised, has unveiled its Zero 5 smartphone the successor to the Zero 4. And as promised, the all-new Infinix Zero 5 sports dual rear cameras with support for optical zoom and portrait mode becoming the first smartphone in the infinix production to come lined with the now trending feature for flagships. On the other hand, the smartphone firm also alongside the Zero 5 unveiled the Infinix Zero 5 Pro which is almost identical to the Zero 5 with just one major difference.
The Zero 5 has a unibody metal design with Corning Gorilla Glass on the front covering the 5.98-Inch display. Inside is the MediaTek Helio P25 MT6757 processor clocked at 2.6GHz with 6GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB or 128GB internal storage with an expandable microSD card slot, and runs on Infinix’ XOS skin on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Meanwhile, on the back is the dual camera system with a primary 12MP f2.0 camera and a secondary 13MP f2.6 2x telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom over the primary lens. On the front is a 16MP f2.0 camera with flash. Other features include a fingerprint sensor, USB-C connector, dual SIM support with separate microSD slot, and 4,350mAh battery with fast charging.
For connectivity there’s 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The 64GB Zero 5 is to made available in Sandstone Black, Champagne Gold and Bordeaux Red color variants while the 128GB in Bronze, Gold, and Black color variants.
The Infinixy zero 5 is now available in the Uganda market starting on this week on Monday and has been priced for 1,120,000 million UGX. Can be found at all Infinix stores around Kampala.
