Google’s CEO; Sundar Pichai – Makes Unannounced Visit to Nigeria

First it was Facebooks Co-Founder and CEO; Mark Zuckeberg who made a two day visit to Nigeria where he visited an accelerator; Andela that the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative invested USD$24 million, also made a surprise visit to Kenya where he visited iHub, the most famous of Africa’s innovation hubs, and finally popped into the office of BRCK.

Then it was Alibaba’s Chairman and Founder; Jack Ma who was recently to Kenya; where he shared his experience of having built his company and how he met the string of challenges that he faced along the way. After his visit in Kenya, he went to Rwanda where he attended the Youth Connekt Africa Summit and later launched the African Young Entrepreneurs Fund, an event that was co-hosted by UNCTAD and the Government of Rwanda.

News reaching our desk is, Google’s CEO; Sundar Pichai – who has made unannounced visit to Nigeria for the #GoogleForNigeria event presently holding. Sundar made the announcement via his Twitter account, quoting; Hello from Lagos! #GoogleforNigeria

In one of his other tweet he said; Thrilled that we’re expanding our digital skills program to train 10M Africans over the next 5 years #GoogleforNigeria.
