Need For Speed Most Wanted – Game Review: Brings New Life on the Old Roads

After the major success of the Need For Speed gaming franchise, EA games has brought a new standard of racing games. And that game is called Need for speed 2012 or to some nfs13.

Graphics
The game features a new standard in racing game graphics, its stunningly visual graphics immerse gamers into its open and vast world. The developers emphasized
its graphic details all the way down to the car features,The cars are amazing and are of a vast variety to use and as well as the civilian cars, every detail from the car signs to the reflection off the hood is jaw dropping.

Location
The game takes place in a fictional city called Fairhaven, it is a fictional city and is a change from the previous most wanted city Rockport. The city of Fairhaven is vast and has many different settings and locations like beaches, factories, ports, highways, all the way down to vibrant city centers. Another amazing feature is the interactive environment, the city contains things like drive thru garages amazing civilian driver A.I and walls, signs and many other items that the players can crash into and destroy.

Gameplay
Now the game is new and there are still a few bugs the developers have to fix but the gameplay is averagely smooth, but my main problem is the games steering i mean the acceleration and cruise of the car is fantastic but the steering and maneuvering is absolutely horrific.

It doesn’t matter if your a PC or console gamer, or your using controllers or a keyboard the controls of moving the car are to extreme in a bad way, when steering in a certain direction the car often completely turns to that side resulting in crashes and or wall scrapes and can leave the gamer in a state of frustration or anger especially if your in the middle of a race.

The rest of the gameplay mechanics are quite smooth but car control is the main problem but if the developers can fix that i feel this game could live up to the amazing Need For Speed standards. But even with the games problems it still has some amazing features like its amazing Police A.I, the games police A.I is great it follows players around and can adapt to the situation its given and can even coordinate with each other to bring down players and brings real interest and excitement/thrill to the players during car chases.

Plot
The game doesn’t have a vast plot story and its mostly about racing, but the major plot is to take out the cities most wanted and take the no. 1 spot. As the racer you start at the bottom and have to take out all ten of the most wanted in the games universe, (Spoiler Alert) with players starting against the no. 10 spot alfa romeo all the way to the no.1 spot  Koenigsegg. And as players further progress through the game they take each rivals most wanted spot and their cars.

Here is a list of the most wanted:
