Consumer Electronics Show (CES, and formerly known officially as International CES) is a global consumer electronics and consumer technology trade-show that takes place every January at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, US. The annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) typically hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry, from thousands of companies all over the world.
The fact that the Shenzhen-based smartphone markers, Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, launched the Huawei Honor 6X at an October press event in China, the company will broaden the phablet’s availability this month at the CES 2017, beginning with the U.S. and Europe and expanding to other regions in the coming weeks.[related-posts]
Specifications:
Body: The phone is wrapped in metal finish body, has a 5.5-inch touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass on top, fingerprint sensor has also been added to the mix. The UI is also said to come with improved power management system and new power saving modes among other features.
Cameras (Rear and Front): The smartphone will spot a 12MP + 2MP rear cameras (for better photography with cleaner focus and wide aperture mode) along with an 8MP front facing camera. The same set has been seen on other smartphones as well and have done somewhat well in the Indian market.
Processor, RAM, ROM, and Battery: The Honor 6X smartphone is powered by a Kirin 655 Octa Core CPU, 32 GB, 3 GB RAM or 64 GB, 4 GB RAM, with an expandable storage space of up-to 256GB microSD card, 3340 mAh battery, and runs on an OS of Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.1 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But the OTA update to the next version has not been ruled out, according to online reports.
The Honor 6X is priced at $276 (roughly 997,800 UGX), and will be available in three color options; gold, silver and grey.
