The South African Red Cross Society (SARCS), on Thursday announced the official launch of its new South African Red Cross Society Humanitarian Aid Mobile Application (SARCS App) developed in partnership with Connectik, a company that develops platforms and mobile applications for enterprise and large-membership organizations.

According to IT News Africa, the launch also follows the recent announcement of H.S.H Princess Charlene of Monaco becoming a patron of the South African Red Cross Society.

“After witnessing the success of various partners using apps developed with Connectik, we are excited to own today an app that will be pivotal to our ability to provide life-changing services to people all over South Africa,” Derick Naidoo, CEO of SARCS, said in a press statement.
