Official ribbon cutting ceremony at the opening of the Exhibition Hall at the 2016 GovTech Conference – ICT for Development, Access and Growth, being held at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand from the 31st October to the 2nd November. The conference taking place over 3 days plays host to over 1600 delegates with 93 high profile speakers. Taking part in the ribbon cutting ceremony is the Acting Chairman of the SITA Board Zukile Nomvete, Honourable Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize, Deputy Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, the Honourable Minister of Telecommunications and Postal Services, Dr. Siyabonga Cwele, Honourable Gauteng MEC of Finance Barbara Creecy and SITA CEO Dr. Setumo Mohapi.
