If your Mac was made between 2009 and 2011, just know that support for you will nolonger be available.
According to MacRumors, an internal memo was sent out stating that four Macs will be added to its list of vintage and obsolete products.
That four Macs includes the 15- and 17-inch MacBook Pro from early 2011 as well as the Mac mini from early 2009 and the 13-inch MacBook from mid-2009.
Apple and its Authorized Service Providers will no longer service your hardware or provide new parts if something on your machine breaks.
Apparently, Apple deems a product “vintage” if it was manufactured between five and seven years ago.
