Twitter’s Vine set to shut down!

Yesterday, Twitter announced that their video-sharing app is shuttering after three years, in a post to Medium.

Launched in 2013, millions of people have shared 6 second videos most of them being for fun.

However, Vine users have been reassured that their previously posted clips won’t be deleted, though the creation of new ones seems less likely in coming months.

You’ll be able to access and download your Vines, and the website will be kept online.

Twitter has been having alot of troubles lately, and recently revealed that it would be laying off 350 employees.

This is part of the restructuring process in order to become profitable in 2017.
