YouTube to Mp3 converter website sued by Major record labels

YouTube-mp3.org, a website which rips audio from YouTube videos is being sued by a group of major record labels—including Universal, Sony, Capitol and Warner Brothers for every single instance of piracy the site allegedly facilitated.

 The plaintiffs claim  that the website facilitates means for its users to engage in copyright infringement, while profiting from the infringement.
 The record labels are suing for $150,000 in damages for every single case of alleged piracy.
The website gets over 60 million users per month.
Currently, they are also requesting a court order that would forbid web hosts, advertisers and other third parties from facilitating access to youtube-mp3.org.
