Reports coming in indicate that tech giant Yahoo is expected to confirm a massive data breach that has affected millions of users any time from now.

The exact magnitude of the vulnerability has not been specified in order to avoid interfering with government investigations, but they point out the attack is widespread and serious.

Last August, a hacker going by the moniker ‘Peace’ claimed he’s allegedly selling private information of over 200 million Yahoo account, including birth-dates, usernames and passwords.

We do not know how the announcement will affect the pending sale of Yahoo’s core business to Verizon.

In case of any update, we will let you know.
